Purpose of Original Multimedia Product
The original multimedia product used for this portion of the assignment will tie into the lesson for the first session within the workshop series.  The pictures and the movie clips that will be watched before the first session would begin will give the students a feel for the concept of inclusion.  Below are the instructional objectives that would follow during this multimedia product. The pictures and the movie clips would help the student (classroom teacher) in understanding the concept of what inclusion means while also giving them a visual representation of a few inclusive programs that have been successfully implemented.

Purpose of Original Presentation

It is the goal of this project to provide training and also provide examples of other programs within our country that are already including children with disabilities into the regular pre-school environment successfully.  In essence with the help of successful inclusion projects and exposure to appropriate and meaningful training, inclusion can become simply a way of life instead of something to be feared.  In order to meet this goal a series of workshops have been developed on the issues of inclusion of children with disabilities into the preschool classroom and instruction on the Multiple Intelligence theory.  Through this course of study a process of awareness and appropriate strategies will be introduced that will enable the inclusion of children with disabilities into the regular classroom.  The first session of this workshop series is included in this presentation material.    You will need Microsoft Powerpoint to view this presentation.
