Training
Modules for Inclusive Education in a Preschool Environment

It is the goal of this project
to provide training and also provide examples of other programs within our country that are already including children with
disabilities into the regular pre-school
environment successfully. In essence with the help of successful inclusion projects and exposure to appropriate
and meaningful training, inclusion can become simply a way of life instead of something to be feared. In
order to meet this goal a series of workshops are being developed on the issues of inclusion of children with
disabilities into the preschool classroom and instruction on the Multiple Intelligence theory. Through
this course of study a process of awareness and appropriate strategies will be introduced that will enable the inclusion of
children with disabilities into the regular classroom. The following pages are just the beginning of this process.
Below you will find links that will direct you to a multimedia presentation as an introduction to this series; a powerpoint
presentation for the first session; a spreadsheet and database as well as graphics that will be included in this project.
There is also information about this project that will be provided on a brochure to the preschools that will be
participating. These web pages are completed as a requirement of the E-Portfolio assignment for Western Govenor's
University Master of Education in Measurement and Evaluation program. Below you will find page links to specific sections of this project. Please click on the icon to be
