| | 1. School is starting....will
your child be ready for FCAT? 2. Is your child reading below grade level and not
making progress? 3. Are you exasperated because you don't know what else to do and you can't get help
from the school? Reading is the most important skill our children need to learn, yet so many children struggle
with reading in school. Many children cannot pass the FCAT. They have poor comprehension, are slow readers, have
trouble with phonemic skills, and more. Not only does the child suffer academically, their future can be negatively
impacted as well. In
this powerful, jam-packed, three hour seminar you will learn: - The
five basic skills that make a good reader and how to identify your child's specific problem.
- The new Response to Intervention (RtI) program
in the public school system and how it is intended to help children who perform poorly.
- How to get FCAT accommodations for your child
- How to get your child evaluated by the public
school system and get the services your child needs.
You'll go home with handouts, charts and invaluable resources to help your son or daughter. Your Speakers: Milaura B.
